Couple of photographic of statements that he beleives in...

Better gear doesn't make you a better photographer.

All digital photographs require some digital post processing; it's not over once the shutter trips.

Covered Bridges Photo Outing

Saturday September 25th 830 to 2-3PM

http://www.coveredbridgevic.com/festival/Bridges.htm

We are out to visit 4 local covered bridges and the areas immediately around them. There is lots of fall scenic even some informal people-portrait chances.

Please respond to Frank Loomer floomer@nbnet.nb.ca if you hope to participate.

Cell Phone Contact on outing with co-ordinator, Frank Loomer: 663-0345

Cancellation: email advisement on severe weather conditions or lack of participants.

PHOTO PRACTICES AND TIPS
Guideline Suggestion: When we approach bridges, suggest that apart from getting to “either side” at beginning, we stay clear of bridge itself for distance/setting shots etc first 15 minutes, and then allow various close ups etc afterward.
Photo Challenges from High contrast between sky, light surrounding and bridge below/interiors. Either compromise with spot metering in between, or take 2-3 shots on tripod and use photoshop layers or High Dynamic Range software to extend effective contrast range.
Opportunity to pick up some shots for club Scavenger Hunt.
Junior shooters / new to club: buddy up with a more experienced shooter/s. Maybe we can do a tally at Tim Hortons before start up. Tips and ideas can come from all corners.
Bring along clothing appropriate for the weather/temperature.
Bring along some snacking / water. We won’t have lunch to about 2.

OUTCOMES:
Selection of images from participants for 15 minute slide slow at a future monthly meeting. Email up to 15 images to Frank Loomer at floomer@nbnet.nb.ca within 3 weeks following outing.
