His  first SLR was a Minolta X-700.
Switched to dSLR (Canon) about 5 years

Silas's editing software is Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS4 Extended (soon purchasing CS5).
He will shoot anything... but his fav subject is people.
One of his lastest project was a 365 project
that ran from 1st Oct 2009 to 30th Sep 2010.
.. and  no,he didn't cheat even once. :-)

Couple of photographic of statements that he beleives in...

Better gear doesn't make you a better photographer.

All digital photographs require some digital post processing; it's not over once the shutter trips.

Web-Site Trial - Announcement

Over the next few days, we will be importing current membership information into the new "trial" web-site.  You will receive an email with a link to the new web-site along with a userid and password.  Please login and take a look around, create a gallery and post a couple of pictures into your gallery.  If you have any problems or even just general questions, please don't hesitate to send me a note or give me a call.

Current plans would see membership voting on moving forward with this site in the next meeting so please give it the once through.

Cheers
